Ashok Vatika Public School observed the martyrdom of Guru Arjan Dev ji

Guru Arjan’s martyrdom is a testament to the power of faith and the human spirit’s capacity for sacrifice and resilience. “Ashok Vatika Public School observed the martyrdom of Guru Arjan Dev ji, the fifth Sikh Guru, with great reverence and respect. A special morning assembly was administered to reflect on Guru Arjan Dev Ji’s life, teachings and martyrdom. The event featured devotional songs portraying his life sketch and preachings.One of our competent teachers delivered a speech about Guru Ji’s contributions to Sikhism, his role in compiling the Guru Granth Sahib and his message of peace and unity. The Principal Mrs. Anchal Mahajan addressed the students inspiring them to follow the virtuous path as illuminated by the great soul and striving to embody the values of compassion and resilience in our life. The observance concluded with the sense of gratitude and reverence for Guru Ji’s  sacrifice. Yellow Day celebration

  Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and  observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower  picture in yellow.
