Guru Arjan’s martyrdom is a testament to the power of faith and the human spirit’s capacity for sacrifice and resilience. “Ashok Vatika Public School observed the martyrdom of Guru Arjan Dev ji, the fifth Sikh Guru, with great reverence and respect. A special morning assembly was administered to reflect on Guru Arjan Dev Ji’s life, teachings and martyrdom. The event featured devotional songs portraying his life sketch and preachings.One of our competent teachers delivered a speech about Guru Ji’s contributions to Sikhism, his role in compiling the Guru Granth Sahib and his message of peace and unity. The Principal Mrs. Anchal Mahajan addressed the students inspiring them to follow the virtuous path as illuminated by the great soul and striving to embody the values of compassion and resilience in our life. The observance concluded with the sense of gratitude and reverence for Guru Ji’s sacrifice.
