Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated World Earth Day with great joy and enthusiasm.

 

On this occasion, a special assembly was organized by the students of Grade 7 with the help of their teacher to create awareness among students about environmental conservation.

The students showcased the importance of Earth Day through creative presentations. Teacher Ms. Harkiran Kaur provided detailed information to the students about the history of this day and its significance. The students delivered impressive speeches, spreading the message of environmental protection.To make the event more engaging, a quiz competition was organized in which children participated enthusiastically and displayed their knowledge. Along with this, a short play was also presented, highlighting increasing pollution and its harmful effects. The play compelled everyone to reflect on the serious consequences if timely action is not taken.Students also expressed their feelings for the Earth through poems and other activities. Special activities were organized for younger children so that they could also understand the importance of this day.At the end of the program, Principal Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, along with all the teachers and students, planted saplings. In her address, she inspired students to take responsibility for protecting the environment. She encouraged them to plant more trees and to pledge to reduce the use of plastic.
