Ashok Vatika Public School observed World Health Day with great enthusiasm and zeal. A special morning assembly was conducted by the students of Grade 4 to mark the occasion and spread awareness about the importance of health and well-being. The assembly beautifully highlighted the significance of maintaining good health and adopting healthy habits from an early age. Students confidently presented poems and speeches on the theme of World Health Day, emphasizing the importance of physical fitness, a balanced diet, personal hygiene, cleanliness, and overall well-being. Their thoughtful presentations conveyed the message that good health is the foundation of a happy and successful life. The students participated with great confidence and enthusiasm, making the assembly both meaningful and engaging. Their performances reflected their understanding of the importance of making healthy choices in everyday life. A thought-provoking and inspiring address was also delivered by the Principal, Ms. Anchal Mahajan, who encouraged the students to follow a healthy lifestyle and understand that health is the greatest wealth. She motivated them to develop positive habits such as eating nutritious food, exercising regularly, maintaining cleanliness, and taking proper care of both their physical and mental health. The celebration proved to be both informative and inspiring. It left a lasting impression on everyone present and reinforced the message that a healthy body and a healthy mind are essential for a bright and successful future.
The foundation of Ashok Vatika Public School at G.T. Road, Amritsar was laid by Late Shri Ashok Mahajan in the year 1995, who was a renounced business icon and philanthropist of his time. His coveted wish was to set up a unique educational institution for the uplifting of the masses of that area by giving them quality education to enable them to develop their talents and personality to shine as useful members of the society.
