Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated World Book Day with great enthusiasm and zeal. On this occasion, a special morning assembly was organized by the students of grade 5.The program began with an inspiring address by Class Incharge Ms. Harpreet Kaur, who made students aware of the importance of books. Following this, the students presented a unique and engaging performance. The children dressed up as different books and introduced themselves through a short skit. The presentation brought books to life, highlighting how they are being gradually neglected due to the growing influence of reels and social media.The performance was not only entertaining but also conveyed a meaningful message—that books will always hold an important place in our lives. Students also delivered impactful speeches, emphasizing the habit of reading and the value of books.Towards the end of the program, students were asked questions related to books, which they answered with great enthusiasm.
In her address, Principal Mrs. Anchal Mahajan stated that books are an endless source of knowledge and that even in this age of technology, the habit of reading must be preserved.
