World Heritage day was observed in the school on 17th of April, 2025 to mark the importance of our heritage and to aware the students about preserving our monuments and cultural sites.

World Heritage day was observed in the school on 17th of April, 2025 to mark the importance of our heritage and to aware the students about preserving our monuments and cultural sites. The students of grade 6 were taken to Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s Summer Palace in Amritsar to witness its history. They also held a special assembly to share their experiences of their visit. The students also briefed about the significance of ‘World Heritage day’. The pictures of world famous heritage places were also displayed for the knowledge of students and they were also shown a PowerPoint presentation on this occasion. They were told that as citizens, we must act responsibly to preserve these valuable sites for future generations. The principal, Mrs Anchal Mahajan,  motivated the children to visit different places of cultural importance and the nearby places of historical importance to learn the history of these sites. Remarkable distinction in S.O.F. competition by Ashok Vatika Public School.

Ashok Vatika Public School is enthusiastic to share the achievements of its students in the S.O.F. ( Science Olympiad Foundation) competitions. The students of grade 3 got gold medals in the Olympiads of mathematics subject. Our student, Sidak Rana, won gold medal of distinction and got international rank of 11 and school rank 1st . Another student, Sukhpratap Singh, won gold medal of excellence with school rank 2nd in the Olympiads of mathematics. They were awarded with the medals and the certificates.The Principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of the teachers also. She further encouraged the young learners to compete for the different competitions to prove their determination and the mental strength.   

Ashok Vatika Public School Celebrated Dr. B.R.Ambedkar’s birth anniversary.

Ashok Vatika Public School Celebrated Dr. B.R.Ambedkar’s birth anniversary. The students of Ashok vatika Public School held a special assembly to pay a revered tribute to the great personality who played a predominant role in the making of India’s constitution. Not only this, he is always remembered for his struggle for the rights of Dalits and presented equality to the whole society. Remembering his contribution for the Indian politics and the welfare of Indian society, a student presented a brief speech on his life. They also enacted a role play to highlight the atrocities on Dalits and Dr.B.R. Ambedkar’s struggle. The main points from the constitution was also displayed .The preamble of Indian constitution was also read aloud following the national anthem. The principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, also talked about the life of Dr. Ambedkar and encourage the students to treat all the people equally. Students brought laurels to Ashok Vatika Public School.

Ashok Vatika Public School witnessed another proud moment as our students Kriti of 4th class and Angad Ahuja from class 10th took part in the special games. The district special games were organised by the‘Maan Dhian and Social Service Society’ of Youth Services Club, Amritsar. Our talented students won prizes in the District Special Games that were held at Prabhakar Senior Secondary School, Amritsar. Ourstudent, Kriti won silver medal in 25 m race and Angad won bronze medal in 50 m race category. The winners were warmly received by the faculty members as the victory of the players brought happiness to the school campus.The principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, stressed that the school believes in the inclusive and holistic development of the students. She congratulated the young students for their achievements and motivated them for further competitions.  

Joyful Baisakhi Celebrations at Ashok Vatika Public School.

Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated the festival of Baisakhi in its campus with much vigour and energy. The students of grade 9 presented a speech highlighting the significance of the festival for the people of Punjab. They presented the history of the festival and described about the remarkable incident the formation of ‘the Khalsa Panth’. The students also performed Bhangra on the traditional Punjabi songs. The poems were also recited by the students expressing the happiness of the farmers.The tiny tots of the school also enjoyed the day by performing Bhangra and Giddha. They came in beautiful cultural attires and also brought traditional foods and relished the special delicacies.The principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, delivered a speech to tell the students about the importance of celebrating our traditional festivals to promote our culture. ‘’Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures”.

‘World Health Day’  was celebrated in our school under the guidance of Principal Mrs. Anchal Mahajan with great enthusiasm and awareness emphasizing the theme ‘’Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures”. She encouraged the students to adopt a healthy lifestyle and approach.To mark the occasion, a variety of engaging and educational activities wereorganised for the students. The day began with a special morning assembly. Students shared thoughtful messages and facts about health and well-being.  Another exciting activity was the Yoga Asanas Session. One of the key highlights of the celebration was the Slogan writing competition and Poster making activity, where students used their artistic and creative skills to present slogans on the theme of health and messages about fitness, hygiene and nutrition.
