Ashok  Vatika Public  School  celebrated  Parkash Utsav  of Guru Nanak Dev Ji with magnificent religious fervour in its campus. The ambience of the Institution reverberated with divinity and spirituality with the chanting of the auspicious preachings of the sacred scriptures of 'Sukhmani Sahib' and 'Japuji Sahib'.  The music choir spellbound the devotees by reciting euphonious hymns and soulful shabd -kirtan in the glory of the divine. It was a spectacular sight to behold the whole Sangat - parents, teachers and students immersed in the ocean of divine devotion.Afterwards   Langar was served to all, solemnizing the ritualistic expression of equality of all human beings, irrespective of any kind of difference. The students from the senior wing enthusiastically participated in the making and distribution of langar.  The programme was concluded after the Principal Mrs.Anchal Mahajan and Chairman Mr.Ashish Mahajan extended best felicitations to all and encouraged the pupils

The children were told about the history and importance of 14th November that marks  the birth anniversary of our first president Jawaharlal Nehru who was also popular as ‘Chacha Nehru’ for his love for the children.Making this day memorable, the teachers, under the able guidance of the principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, presented a role play in the form of ‘Nukad Natak’. Through this thought provoking performance, the faculty members conveyed  remarkable message of respecting the elders and fulfilling the duties towards the society. These efforts were highly appreciated by the students with loud cheers. The festival of lights, Diwali was celebrated in the school campus with great exhilaration and elation.

Ashok Vatika Public School wishes a very happy and safe Diwali to all. May this auspicious festival brings a lot of prosperity and fortune to everyone. The festival of lights, Diwali was celebrated in the school campus with great exhilaration and elation. A special morning assembly was administered and the background of the festival from the perspective of different religions was set forth. The students  portrayed tableaus from the life sketch of Lord Rama in an engaging manner and recited Shabd' to kindle the spirit of 'Bandichhor Diwas', along with narrating its religious, moral and historic significance. The Principal, Mrs.Anchal Mahajan enlightened the students  about the essence of the day by encouraging them to follow virtuous and righteous path in life and  wished best felicitations to the entire staff and students.

Ashok Vatika Public School observed Vigilance Awareness Week with ITBP staff and officers.

Under the able guidance of principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, Ashok Vatika Public School observed Vigilance Awareness Week with ITBP staff and officers. They organized a seminar to  make students aware about anti- corruption movement. The 2023 Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed from 30th October to 5th November 2023 with the theme “ Say No to Corruption, Commit to the Nation”. They informed the students that the main purpose of celebrating Vigilance Awareness Week is to involve the public in the fight against corruption. The students were also apprised about the contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and the importance of National Unity Day which is celebrated on 31st October to pay homage to the indomitable spirit of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and his unparalleled contributions to India’s unity and integrity. Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated Punjab Day in its premises to mark the commemoration of 'Punjab Formation Day', a significant milestone in the history of the Indian state of Punjab. A special assembly of grade -10 was administered to illustrate the vibrant history of Punjab. The pupils were delineated about the pivotal role of Punjab in the nation's narrative and the prolonged struggle that our State had to undergo to emerge as a seperate vital entity on November 1 in 1966. The girls presented our traditional folk dance to adorn the day. The event was concluded with the speech of the Principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, in which she highlighted the role of unity amongst all the inhabitants of the state , irrespective of any religion and creed.
