YELLOW DAY CELEBRATION

A splash of sunshine, smiles, and endless happiness filled our Kindergarten as we celebrated Yellow Day! Dressed in beautiful shades of yellow, our little stars enthusiastically participated in fun-filled activities, exciting games, and interactive learning experiences. The highlight of the day was the delightful “Hungry Duck” game, where children enjoyed learning through play while enhancing their hand-eye coordination and motor skills. From bright sunflowers to cheerful smiles, every moment reflected the warmth, positivity, and energy that the colour yellow represents. 💛 At Ashok Vatika Public School, we believe that joyful learning creates happy memories and builds confident young minds.  

Refreshing Lemonade Party!

Our little chefs had a wonderful time preparing and enjoying fresh lemonade while learning teamwork, creativity, and healthy habits. Smiles, laughter, and refreshing sips made this activity a memorable experience for our young learners. 🌞✨  

Soluble & Insoluble Substances – Learning by Doing!

At Ashok Vatika Public School, our young scientists explored the fascinating world of Soluble and Insoluble Substances through a fun hands-on experiment. 🔍Using water, salt, sugar, and soil, students observed which substances dissolve in water and which do not. This engaging activity helped them understand scientific concepts through practical learning while developing observation and critical-thinking skills. 🌟 Learning becomes meaningful when children discover concepts through experience! 💡 Curious Minds, Bright Futures!

Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated Mother’s Day with great enthusiasm and happiness.

 A special morning assembly was organised to honour mothers and express gratitude for their endless love and care. Students delivered speeches on the importance of Mother’s Day and presented poems, dances, and skits dedicated to mothers. Their performances beautifully reflected a mother’s love, sacrifice, and affection. The school choir also performed soulful songs, making the event even more emotional and memorable. Students from different classes participated in a card-making activity and prepared creative greeting cards for their mothers with great excitement and affection. Addressing the gathering, Principal Mrs. Anchal Mahajan said that mothers are the first teachers of children and their values and love shape a child’s future. She inspired students to always respect and appreciate their parents. The celebration concluded with the national anthem in an atmosphere filled with love, gratitude, and respect.  

NCC (National Cadet Corps) Enrollment Drive ( 2026-27)

Ashok Vatika Public School organized a special NCC (National Cadet Corps) enrollment drive for the academic session 2026–27 to encourage students to join NCC and develop qualities like discipline, leadership, and patriotism. The campaign was successfully conducted under the guidance of Principal Mrs. Aanchal Mahajan and the supervision of PI Staff members Hardev Singh and Gurpreet Singh from NCC Punjab Battalion 11. Sports Teacher Mr. Kunal Sahdev and Caretaker Mr. Ravi Kumar also motivated students to become a part of NCC. During the session, students were informed that NCC is not only a platform for physical fitness but also an important step toward personality development, self-confidence, and a bright future. International Labour Day Celebrated at Ashok Vatika Public School

International Labour Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur at Ashok Vatika Public School under the able guidance of Principal Mrs. Anchal Mahajan. On this occasion, a special program was organized by the students of Class VIII, in which the Principal, teachers, and students participated in large numbers.The program commenced with an address by teacher Mrs. Piyaswani, who elaborated on the significance of Labour Day. She highlighted that workers are an integral part of society and that no nation can progress without their hard work. She inspired students to respect every worker and be aware of their rights.Students presented a variety of cultural performances including poems, speeches, songs, and a skit depicting the lives of workers. The workshop, conducted by CBSE, aimed at enhancing the capacity of teachers to support and improve students’ mental health and overall well-being. The resource persons for the workshop were Mrs. Gurpreet Kaur Oberoi (Principal, Amritsar Public School) and Mrs. Inderpreet Kaur (Principal, Bibi Kaulan Ji Public School), who shared their valuable insights and expertise. World Book Day Celebrated Creatively at Ashok Vatika Public School Amritsar.

  Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated World Book Day with great enthusiasm and zeal. On this occasion, a special morning assembly was organized by the students of grade 5.The program began with an inspiring address by Class Incharge Ms. Harpreet Kaur, who made students aware of the importance of books. Following this, the students  presented a unique and engaging performance. The children dressed up as different books and introduced themselves through a short skit. The presentation brought books to life, highlighting how they are being gradually neglected due to the growing influence of reels and social media.The performance was not only entertaining but also conveyed a meaningful message—that books will always hold an important place in our lives.
