Seminar on ‘ Substance Abuse in Adolescents’. A significant seminar was organized by Ashok Vatika Public School with the collaboration of Amandeep Hospitals in the school premises. The topic of the seminar was ‘Substance Abuse in Adolescents’. Ms. Sharda, Sr. Psychologist from Amandeep Hospital, Asr, was the chief speaker to address this issue. She apprised the students about the ill -effects of the substance abuse. She highlighted the various forms of illicit and legal drugs that are effecting the youngsters and how these things alters the thinking process of human beings. The varied factors responsible for it were also talked about and how such substances are impacting the normal life of students putting under intense stress their academic potential as well as their ability to cope up in social life. A Talent Hunt for session 2024-2025 was held in Ashok Vatika Public School with great vigour and enthusiasm. The students were quite excited for the show as they got the chance to exhibit their talents and skills. A number of activities like dance, singing, art & craft, powerpoint presentation, public speaking,and photography, were there for them to showcase their brilliance. Such shows allow the students to express themselves and to strengthen their confidence level. They were adjudged by judges and were awarded with the wonderful prizes. On this occasion, the principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, also remarked that competitions like talent hunt always motivate them to pursue their dreams to achieve. She admired the efforts of the students and congratulated them on their success.   

To show a humble reverence towards the class four employees of the school, Labour day was observed in the premises of Ashok Vatika Public School. The students of grade 8 held a special assembly to celebrate 1st May. It was marked to highlight the hard work and the selfless service of labourers. A student briefed about the importance of this day and the significant role of labourers in our life. A play was also enacted by the students to highlight the struggle and the life conditions of labourers. A thoughtful choreography was also presented by them. On this occasion, the principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, also addressed the class 4 members and expressed her gratitude towards their services. A special havan of this session 2024- 2025 was observed in the premises of the school today to seek the blessings of the Almighty. On this occasion , the chairman, Mr. Ashish Mahajan and the principal, Mrs.Anchal Mahajan, with all the faculty members and students paid their reverence to the havan by attending it and prayed together for the progress in their life and for the blessings of God. The Prasad was also distributed to the whole school. The principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, addressed the students after havan and suggested them to respectfully carry forward their traditions in life and be grateful to God for his grace.
