Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated Kids Carnival on December 24,2022 to invigorate the spirit of Christmas. The event was celebrated sprightly on large scale with the inclusion of majestic exhibition, fete and superb performances by our students. The exhibition provided glimpses of the multicoloured traditions, important landmarks and famous artworks of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, states of Andhra Pradesh,Karnataka and Punjab in a commendable manner.The students had also prepared different innovative models related to Mathematics, Science and Social Science which were indeed eye catching and riveting. There was a perfect arrangement for different recreational and amusement activities in the school campus like rides , games and eatery stalls. The winners of the Raffle draw were also announced. Orange is a colour that stimulates creativity." Orange Colour Day was celebrated at AVPS Amritsar by the learners of kindergarten with great zeal and zest. The classrooms were decorated with orange coloured objects, activity sheets and balloons. Our school  participated in the 'Hariawal Mahotsav'  held at Sant Bhuriwala school, Sultanwind , Amritsar. A medley of spectacular events were organised in the school. The dynamic students of grade 9 from our school presented an innovative science project on rainwater harvesting in the fair. All the pupils were accoladed with appreciation certificates. Loveleen Kaur of grade 11 bagged first prize in painting competition. The NCC candidates of our school participated in the 'Annual NCC Training camp' organised at Khalsa College of Engineering and Technology,Ranjeet Avenue , Amritsar. The school observed  "Fit India school week", a flagship programme initiated under the aegis of CBSE to acquaint and aware the  pupils about the merits of implementing fitness goals from 2nd December to 8th December.The school  conducted various activities to follow the project in spirit.The pupils of grade 4 to 6 were delineated  about the benefits of different  asanas of Yoga. They were taught  to practise them immaculately . Also a poster making  activity was conducted where in the students vented out the essence  of the  theme , quite, in an expressive manner.
