 Ashok Vatika Public School feels highly elated on the accomplishment marked by its students who once again proved their mettle in the field of sports. Our students have won the third position in under 14 & under 17 zonal level volleyball competition by defeating the other eight teams at D.A.V. Sen. Sec. school. Our students, displaying their hard work and dedication, won this competition with great success. The principal, Mrs.Anchal Mahajan, congratulated the students on their success and motivated other students to participate and win more such achievements.

  A special training workshop on NEP was organized for the teachers of Ashok Vatika Public School . The main motive of the workshop was to acquaint the teachers with the implementation of NEP(National Educational Policy) in the school by understanding and following it well. The resource person of this workshop was Ms. Vinita, from Oxford University Press, who delineated the various aspects of NEP  that are required for the holistic development of students in the schooling. The teachers were also informed about the recent ways of assessment to make the teaching learning process student centric. She also stressed on inculcating the 21st century skills in the students by engaging them in asking questions about the different concepts. In the premises of Ashok Vatika Public School, the Parkash Utsav of Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji was celebrated with much devotion and reverence . The Students sang religious hymns to mark this occasion. They were also told about the compilation of Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji and the different stanzas created by a number of Gurus and Saints in it. To show regard towards our national language,  Hindi Diwas was celebrated  in the campus of Ashok Vatika Public School. To promote the awareness amongst NCC cadets about crucial current affairs, poster making competition was organized at Ashok Vatika Public School by 11 PB BN Army under the direction and guidance of CTO Kunal Sahdev and Vice Principal Mr. Vipul Malhotra. The cadets were encouraged to illustrate their unique talent by making posters related to theme and prospective impact of G-20 summit in India. The Principal Mrs. Anchal Mahajan extolled the efforts of students by appreciating and inspiring them.  

 

 

  Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated Grandparents Day  with great enthusiasm and zest. The maternal and paternal grandparents were warmly welcomed in the school premises. The celebrations began with a welcome song and a dance item. They also presented a play depicting the value of grandparents in their lives.   Teachers' day was celebrated in the premises of Ashok Vatika Public School. On this occasion, the Principal  Mrs. Anchal Mahajan and the Chairman Mr. Ashish Mahajan welcomed and honored DCP ( Law and Order) Parminder Singh Bandal as the chief guest. They  honoured the nominated teachers with the best teacher award. Among the awarded teachers were Ritu jaitley (Social science ) Narinder Kaur (Art and craft) and Sheetal Dutta ( English). Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated the pious festival  of' krishna Janamashtmi' with great zeal and alacrity. The little munchkins were decked up in beautiful apparels as Radha and Krishna. The students illustrated bewitching tableaus, stealing glances from the life -sketch of the Lord. The melodious hymns and phenomenal dance performances put forth, imbued the ambience with divinity, optimism and gaiety. The Principal Mrs. Anchal Mahajan extended cordial felicitations to everyone and stimulated the pupils to follow the virtuous path as directed by the Almighty in the Bhagwad Geeta.
