A special havan of this session 2024- 2025 was observed in the premises of the school.

A special havan of this session 2024- 2025 was observed in the premises of the school today to seek the blessings of the Almighty. On this occasion , the chairman, Mr. Ashish Mahajan and the principal, Mrs.Anchal Mahajan, with all the faculty members and students paid their reverence to the havan by attending it and prayed together for the progress in their life and for the blessings of God. The Prasad was also distributed to the whole school. The principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, addressed the students after havan and suggested them to respectfully carry forward their traditions in life and be grateful to God for his grace.

The Earth day was celebrated today in the campus of Ashok Vatika Public School.

The Earth day was celebrated today in the campus of Ashok Vatika Public School. To mark this day, the students of grade 7 held an assembly dedicated to promote the awareness regarding saving our environment and our planet from the harmful use of plastics. A student briefed about the celebration of Earth Day And its significance for the living organisms. They presented a thought provoking play to highlight the chaos human beings have created through pollution and the necessity to reduce the plastic usage. The students also chanted a beautiful  group song on the planet earth.A seminar was also organized by Hariawal Punjab movement to aware the students about preserving our environment. The members of this movement motivated the young students to take numerous steps like to save water, environment and finally to save the planet by planting more trees, by saving electricity, by conserving water and by reducing the use of plastic in daily life. World Heritage Day

World Heritage day was observed in the school today to mark the importance of our heritage and to aware the students about preserving our monuments and cultural sites. The students of grade 6 were taken to Sarai Amanat Khan in Amritsar to witness its history. They also held a special assembly to share their experiences of their visit. The students also briefed about the significance of ‘World Heritage day’. The pictures of world famous heritage places were also displayed for the knowledge of students and they were also shown a PowerPoint presentation on this occasion. The principal, Mrs Anchal Mahajan,  motivated the children to visit different places of cultural importance and the nearby places of historical importance to learn the history of these sites. She stressed the fact that the awareness of our history makes us proud of our heritage and culture.  #worldheritagesite #worldheritageday

Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated Dr. B.R.Ambedkar’s birth anniversary.

Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated Dr. B.R.Ambedkar’s birth anniversary. The students of class 12 held a special assembly to pay a revered tribute to the great personality who played a predominant role in the making of India’s constitution. Not only this, he is always remembered for his struggle for the rights of Dalits and presented equality to the whole society. Remembering his contribution for the Indian politics and the welfare of Indian society, a student presented a brief speech on his life. They also enacted a role play to highlight the atrocities on Dalits and Dr.B.R. Ambedkar’s struggle. The main points from the constitution was also displayed .The preamble of Indian constitution was also read aloud following the national anthem. The principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, also talked about the life of Dr. Ambedkar and encourage the students to treat all the people equally. She also suggested them to carry forward the legacy and to follow the path shown by him.

The festival of Baisakhi was celebrated in Ashok Vatika Public School.

  The festival of Baisakhi was celebrated in Ashok Vatika Public School with great vigour and the festive spirit. Baisakhi is an important festival of Punjab that represents the prosperity and happiness of people. To mark this occasion, the students of grade 10 held a special assembly dedicated to the festival. They highlighted the culture of Punjab and the significance of Baisakhi for the Punjab and Punjabis. The students presented a speech about this day and they shed a light on the history of this day by presenting a play on the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The presentation left all the viewers quite emotional. They read out famous Punjabi poems on the festival. The colors of the culture of Punjab were also presented through the performance of Punjabi dance. The students presented the dance with exuberance and cheerfulness.
