The players of Ashok Vatika Public School brought another moment of proud to the school with their incredible performance in the tug of war competitions. The competitions of zonal level were held at Guru Nanak Stadium.  The students participated in three categories of tug of war competition under -14, under-17 and under-19. They defeated  the teams of DAV Senior Secondary School, Hathi Gate, Government Senior Secondary School Rambagh, Govt. Sen. Sec. School Islamabad, and many other school teams .Our teams of under 14 girls and boys won first position, under 17 of girls and boys won first position and under 19 of girls won first position and boys got third position.The elated students were welcomed warmly in the school and were appreciated for their hard work and their performance. Ashok Vatika Public School successfully celebrated the ‘Shiksha Saptah’

Ashok Vatika Public School successfully celebrated the ‘Shiksha Saptah’ . As per the guidelines of CBSE, various activities were organised to create awareness regarding it. The different days were devoted to several  activities like on the first day TLM ( Teaching - Learning Material) activity was held. Organising TLM day in the school was actually an excellent experience for students, teachers as well as parents.TLM fair on Posters,  Art work and Jaudai Pitara was organised for the students and parents. The school also arranged an exhibition of working models. Students participated with great zeal. On the second day (FLN day)of this week, the school conducted many activities for literacy and numeracy such as reading activities, formation of numbers, abacus activity, word building and many more … Aids were effectively used and learning outcomes were actually outstanding. Mango Day Celebration at Ashok Vatika Public School! 🌟 Our little stars had a wonderful time celebrating Mango Day, enjoying the king of fruits - the Mango!  The day was filled with delicious treats as the students happily ate fresh mangoes and drank refreshing mango juice.The creative activities were a big hit. UKG, Nursery, and LKG students had fun pasting mango cut-outs on trees, and our young artists made beautiful mango paintings. Everyone loved the “Hit the Target with Ball and Cup” game, which brought lots of excitement. The school looked cheerful with all the students wearing bright yellow outfits, adding to the festive mood. One touch of nature makes the whole world kin” – William Shakespeare  Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated Van Mahotsav in its campus. To create awareness regarding our environment and the urge of preserving our planets’ health, the students and teachers took part in the tree plantation drive. Even the kids planted saplings in the open space of the school. There were numerous other activities that were organised like painting, tear and pasting activity by the students of Nursery class, thumb painting on tree by LKG students and cotton dabbing on tree by UKG students. As we all know, trees are the requirement to maintain the balance of earth’s temperature. Without tress, we cannot survive as they provide us oxygen to live.On this occasion, the principal, Mrs Anchal Mahajan, also addressed the students and motivated them to plant one sapling atleast around their home. The students of Ashok Vatika Public School attended a 10 ten day NCC camp.

Under the able guidance of principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, and Col. Birendra Kumar, commanding officer of 11 Punjab NCC Battalion, the students of Ashok Vatika Public School attended a 10 ten day NCC camp. The camp was organized under 11 Punjab NCC Battalion that  was held at ITI college, Near Ram Tirth temple in Amritsar. The students of grade 9- Deepjot kaur , Aarav Malhotra and Guramrit Singh took part in the camp and performed number of activities in this 10 day training camp. They did parade, physical exercises, yoga, running and attended lectures about the description of different rifles and on topics of general importance. The students were also taught about the importance of discipline. The whole camp was aimed to make them disciplined and to teach them the things beyond the classroom environment. They learnt and experienced positive changes in their life as the training helped them to be punctual, disciplined, and focused towards learning and completing their tasks on time.
