Ashok Vatika Public School

A two days workshop was organised in Ashok Vatika Public School for the students. The resource person of the occasion was Mr. Vikramjit Singh Rooprai, a famous author, educator and well renowned historian. He was warmly welcomed by the principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan. He had a number of things to share with the students, beginning from his life to  the peak of his career. On the first day of the session, he addressed the students of grade 7 to 10 , on the second day of the workshop,he addressed the students of grade 11 and 12. Through his speech, he shared a number of different ways to solve the problems and motivated the students to remain curious to achieve their goals in life. The queries and doubts of the students were also taken up and resolved with the right and experienced guidance. This special occasion was held  at Cambridge International School on September 7, 2024. Ms. Mahima Gupta was the chief guest and all the prominent members of the Sahodaya committee were present there. Mrs. Ritu Jaitly has been serving the institution for many years and is known for her dedication and passion towards the noble profession of teaching. On reaching the school, she was warmly greeted by the principal, her colleagues and the students of the school for being awarded with the best teacher award. Teachers’ day was celebrated with much enthusiasm and excitement today in the campus of Ashok Vatika Public School. The day is celebrated in the commemoration of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, 2nd president of India. The students wished their teachers ‘A very Happy Teachers day’ and delivered a speech highlighting the role of their teachers in shaping the future of students. They thanked the teachers for the valuable contribution they are putting in students’ life. The students of grade +2 also presented a play and dedicated it to their teachers. The prakash utsav of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was celebrated with great reverence and devotion in the premises of Ashok Vatika Public School. The students of grade 11 presented a speech narrating about the significance of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in guiding our life. The students also chanted the shabad to pay their respects towards the teachings of Guruji. The melodious 'Shabad Gayan' by the students filled the surroundings with pious and sacred vibes helping the listeners to realize the peacefulness around them.
