We are proud to announce that our one of the teachers, Mrs. Ritu Jaitly, from Ashok Vatika Public School is awarded with the best teacher award on the occasion of Amritsar Sahodya’s Teachers’ Day function. This special occasion was held  at Cambridge International School on September 7, 2024. Ms. Mahima Gupta was the chief guest and all the prominent members of the Sahodaya committee were present there. Mrs. Ritu Jaitly has been serving the institution for many years and is known for her dedication and passion towards the noble profession of teaching. On reaching the school, she was warmly greeted by the principal, her colleagues and the students of the school for being awarded with the best teacher award. The Principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, congratulated her and praised her sincere efforts of helping and guiding the students well. She also appreciated the efforts of the other teachers also and shared the strategies with them for becoming the successful mentor for the students.

Teachers’ day was celebrated with much enthusiasm and excitement today in the campus of Ashok Vatika Public School. The day is celebrated in the commemoration of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, 2nd president of India. The students wished their teachers ‘A very Happy Teachers day’ and delivered a speech highlighting the role of their teachers in shaping the future of students. They thanked the teachers for the valuable contribution they are putting in students’ life. The students of grade +2 also presented a play and dedicated it to their teachers. A dance performance was also presented by them. The teachers also enjoyed the day among themselves as the principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, organised a special event for the teachers to have a day out to watch the screening of a film ‘Stree 2’ for all the faculty members. The prakash utsav of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was celebrated with great reverence and devotion in the premises of Ashok Vatika Public School. The students of grade 11 presented a speech narrating about the significance of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in guiding our life. The students also chanted the shabad to pay their respects towards the teachings of Guruji. The melodious 'Shabad Gayan' by the students filled the surroundings with pious and sacred vibes helping the listeners to realize the peacefulness around them.
