Ashok Vatika Public School is glad to share a great achievement of  winning a cricket match by Ashok Vatika Cricket Academy. The players of the academy won a cricket match that was played against Kot Khalsa Academy. Our players defeated them by chasing the targeted score of 139 runs (30 overs) in just 17 overs.It in itself was a great achievement for the upcoming cricketers. Our student, Simarpreet Singh of grade 8 was awarded with ‘Man of the Match’ award for scoring 53 runs in just 32 balls.  Another player, Manmeet Singh of grade 8 was also awarded with the ‘Best Bowler’ trophy for throwing six maiden overs and for scoring  35 runs in 20 balls. The players were warmly welcomed in the school campus and applauded for their achievements. They also shared their victorious experience with the other teammates.The principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, and the faculty members highly praised the winners and encouraged the students to play more sports for their holistic development. ...

 

Ashok Vatika Public School is pleased to announce that our students have brought another achievement to the school. The students took part in the grand Bal Kala Mela 5.0 on 7th December 2024, an inter-school competition with the inspiring theme “Books: The Elixir of Life.” The students from more than 10 esteemed schools of Amritsar, participated and showcased their talent. They took part in the various competitions like Calligraphy, Caricature, Group Dance, Digital Poster Making, Video Composition and many more. Our students won first prize in PowerPoint Presentation competition and second prize in Video Composition competition. Ramanjot Kaur (grade 7) and Jeevika Rana (grade 5) won the first prize in PPT competition. Ayush Kumar Yadav and Vasu Sharma from grade 12 (sci.) got second prize in Video Composition competition. We are pleased to announce that the students of Ashok Vatika Public School brought accolades to the institution by winning medals in the 8th Royal Challenges Cup. The students of grade 4 Varinee Prajapati and Aryan Sharma took part in the Karate competition of All India Traditional Shoto-kai Karate Championship that was held on 16th and 17th November at GLA University, Vrindavan (U.P.). Our student Varinee won the gold medal and Aryan won the bronze medal in the competition by defeating the number of competitors. The whole school congratulated the winners for their achievements. The martyrdom day of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji was observed in the campus of Ashok Vatika Public School. Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji was the ninth Sikh guru who sacrificed his life for the sake of religion and to protect the whole community. To pay revered homage to Guru ji  and to remember them, the students devotedly chanted the hymns of Guru Ji and paid their respectful  tributes to Guru ji. The speech on the life of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji was also given. The main teachings of Guru Ji were also highlighted in the speech. They enchanted the melodious hymns and created a pious atmosphere with the pleasant ‘Shabad Gayan’. The principal madam, in her address, admired the values and the teachings taught by Guru ji and urged the students to follow the path of honesty and truthfulness. Ashok Vatika Public School always participates eagerly in different activities important for the holistic development of students. Recently the students participated in one day NCC camp of firing. The camp was held at Guru Teg Bahadur Public School, Amritsar under the able guidance of CO Colonel Birendra Kumar, 11 Punjab NCC battalion. The 31 students of our school participated in this camp and were quite interested to take part in it. They learned the skills of firing and got knowledge about the different rifles. NCC always plays an important role in teaching discipline to the youngsters that is important for them for the all – round development.The principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, praised and also supported the role of such camps in personality development of the students.
