Under the able guidance of the Principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, the students of Ashok Vatika Public School had an educational excursion as they visited Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala. The trip provided them an important experiential learning environment. The students from grade 4  to grade 8 visited Science City with a great excitement and hope to learn. The students witnessed the laser show, dinosaurs show where they learnt about the history of dinosaurs on the Earth and visited dinosaurs park, birds gallery, life through ages, mathematics gallery, fun through science gallery, 3 D theatre, and also learned about evolution of human life. The players of Ashok Vatika Public School are making the school proud with their achievements. Our outstanding performer of grade 4th, Enayat Ghai ,won silver medal in Kyo Rin All India Open Karate Championship 2024. The competition was held at Khalsa College Sen. Sec. School, Amritsar where she won second position by defeating the other opponents. Presenting her martial skills, she has also got second position in 17 Inter School Karate Championship 2024 that was held at Khalsa School, Nwa Pind, Amritsar. The students of Ashok Vatika Public School once again created a milestone by giving a brilliant performance in Volleyball match at the district level. The district level competition of Volleyball was held at Khalsa Public School, Amritsar where 16 teams from different schools participated to compete against one another. The students played very well and won third position at the district level. They displayed true sportsmanship, cooperation and the will power to perform well in the matches. The NCC cadets from Ashok Vatika Public School attended a one day firing camp of NCC training at Shri Guru Teg Bahadur School, Amritsar. The camp was organised under the guidance of CO Col. Birendra Kumar, 11 Punjab NCC Battalion, Amritsar. Our 20 students went for the training of firing with a rifle and experienced a unique learning beyond the classroom environment. They were quite enthusiastic to undergo this training and enjoyed the learning process. Games are always loved by children as funny games always provide them the opportunity to enjoy and laugh together. Under the able guidance of principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, the students of Ashok Vatika Public School visited ‘Smash Game On’. As a part of fun and entertainment activity, the students of classes from 1st to 3rd enjoyed the fun trip by participating in numerous indoor kids games and funny activities. They also enjoyed the eatables and delicacies. It proved to be an interesting- cum- recreational picnic for the children where they explored the luring world of multiple games and amusement.  

On the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishan Janmashtami, the students of grade 3 held a special assembly in the campus of Ashok Vatika Public School. The students chanted melodious bhajans of Lord Krishan, performed a dazzling dance performance depicting Krishan ji ‘ s life and also enacted an act dedicated to his life. The junior students caught an attention of each eye towards their awesome dances in the charming attires of Radha Krishan. The students also took part in painting the pictures of Lord Krishan. They also highlighted the teachings of Lord. A special activity of ‘ Mataki Decoration’ was also organized for pre wing students in which students enthusiastically participated and presented their creativity.The principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan , insisted the students to walk on the path shown by Lord Krishan. On the special festival of Raksha Bandhan, the students of Ashok Vatika Public School held a special assembly dedicated to the festival. Raksha Bandhan is our most loved festival that celebrates the bond of love and protection between siblings. The festival is celebrated on the full moon day of the Shravan month in the Indian calendar.The students of 2nd class presented a dance highlighting the love between brother and sister. They were also told about the significance of the festival. On the the eve of 78th independence day, the students of Ashok Vatika Public School paid a revered homage to our nation. The students of grade 5 held a special assembly to celebrate this day. They delivered a speech on the independence day, recited patriotic songs and poems and also displayed a vibrant dance performance. They also presented speeches on the various achievements of India as a country and the progress that we have been achieving. A fancy dress activity of pre wing kids was also organized in which tiny tots assumed different roles from the history and displayed an attractive show. On this occasion, the principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, welcomed the chief guest S.Sukhminder Singh, an active member of BJP who has been a councilor (three times) from Amritsar North.
